Disabling "/RDWeb/Pages/en-US/login.aspx" login page from windows server 2016 RDS Gateway
Using windows server 2016 as an RDS gateway for remote access during covid. Distributed a customized .rdp file for users to connect to the environment which is just a session host collection. The users have no need to ever login to the URL located at /RDWeb/Pages/en-US/login.aspx on the gateway server, i believe this is a separate role called RD web access. Can I actually go ahead and remove the RD web access role completely and not break connectivity with RD gateway via the .rdp files? I am seeing constant knocking on the door of this web server and yesterday had a number of accounts locked out due to it being exposed to the internet. Thanks for the help.
